Hi there! My name is Mica Nafshun-Bone (professionally known as Mica Erin), and I’m a violinist, singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. I graduated from the USC Thornton School of Music’s Popular Music Performance Program in May of 2019. This fall, I’ll be attending Berklee Valencia in Spain for a year to get my Masters of Music in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games, and I’m very stoked! Throughout my time at USC, I started cultivating an interest in hosting my own radio show through our student-run station, KXSC. My show is called Indie-Cision with DJ Meeks, and I’m excited to be able to broadcast the music I love not only in the states, but abroad as well. Indie-Cision showcases various genres I grew up listening to, including classic rock with acts such as The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, CSNY and indie rock groups like Arcade Fire, Feist, and Wolf Alice. Now that the world is slowly beginning to open up again and more people are getting the COVID-19 vaccine, I plan on showcasing local talent and guest interviews as well.
